Camp Whitman’s 2010 Christian Summer Camps

For Youth & Adult Campers with Developmental Disabilities

Explorations

All the things you like doing packed into a week of camp. During the day you can choose between swimming, boating, crafts, singing, playing games, baking, taking nature walks, and relaxing by the lake. In the evenings, we’ll enjoy cookouts, all-camp worship, wacky Olympics, time with friends around the campfire, and, of course, the dance. These sessions are divided by age, so be sure to pick the one that is right for you.

Outdoor Adventures

This is the week for outdoor enthusiasts! Your days will be filled with nature walks, field games, cookouts, gardening, and nature crafts, plus optional swimming and boating. Lots of evenings by the campfire and a night sleeping under the stars too. So come enjoy all that our 117 acres have to offer.

Music & Art

Do you paint or draw or do crafts? Or maybe music and drama are more your style. Come share your talents with friends and try out new kinds of art and music. All you need is enthusiasm and a readiness to have fun.

Water Fun

Dive into a week of swimming, canoeing, banana boating, and water games then relax by the pool when you’re worn out. In between, we’ll find time for things like tie dye, cookouts, and the dance.

Whitman Adventures

A lively week of fun with your friends at the pool, on the lake, in the woods, and on the playing field. Challenge yourself to try it all!
