Camp Whitman on Seneca Lake — Group Rentals
Camp Whitman on Seneca Lake is a 117 acre seasonal usage site nestled in the woods on the shore of scenic Seneca Lake, in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region.
The site may be rented from April 1st through the third week of June and from the fourth week of August until mid-October. Shared usage and exclusive usage are both available.
With ample shoreline, we are able to accommodate lake usage by your group. The pool is open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Your group is responsible for providing properly credentialed lifeguards for all water-based activities.
The Main Lodge offers meeting space, a spacious dining hall seating 150 with a nice view of Seneca Lake, and a nicely equipped kitchen.
There are five sleeping and group areas.
Each area has a fire ring and table.
- Accomodates 48 people in three cabin areas with four four-bed cabins in each, and a lodge building for meetings and additional sleeping.
- Totals nine cabins, able to accommodate 36.
- Has four cabins and a lodge and sleeps 16 in the cabins, with additional sleeping in the lodge.
- A new area is located above the lakeshore and sleeps 24 in six four-bed cabins.
Arrangements may also be made for tent and trailer usage, but there are no hook-ups available.
Among other facilities the camp offers are:
- a low ropes course with 11 elements
- a scenic pond area with a fire ring and table
- an area with tables and fire ring nestled in a wooded setting
- a volleyball court
- hiking trails offer peaceful nature walks
- a spacious main field is a great place for fun and games, as well as a meeting place.
Camp tours may be arranged if you would like to see the facility.
