A FULL DAY of fun at camp for the whole family!
Sample a bit of Camp Whitman with staff led activities like Archery, Gaga, Arts & Crafts, Volleyball and Ice-Cream Making. Lunch is provided.
Join other prospective camp families and our camp coordinators and camp director on Saturday, May 18. We will view a short presentation about camp, do a group tour of the camp and answer any questions that you have. It's a great opportunity for parents and campers alike to visit camp and meet the staff before you arrive at camp.
What does it mean to work with your hands? Jesus was a carpenter. Spend a weekend creating with your hands, pondering together how we are each created in love by a loving Creator, and how God calls us to create according to how we were made in God’s image.
We will play games, hike, cook, spend lots of time around the campfire, walk the labyrinth and the shore of Seneca Lake, and by the end of the weekend, build something concrete that we can always look at and say, “wow—I built that!”.
Join fellow Camp Whitman staff, alumni, parents, campers and community members for one, two, or threes days of service.
Families, youth groups and adult groups are all welcome. Projects will include painting, gardening, tree trimming, trail maintenance, light construction and cleaning. Lunch and snacks will be included for all those who participate.
Please register in advance.
